Been Several Months

Tue Jan 5, 2010, 10:04 AM
Man, time flies! Can't believe it's already 2010, and I last posted something in July of '09. Had a lot of work at my work and been working on DetectiveShinichi.com. Haven't done much artwork, but have done some logo designs which I've been needing to upload on here. I'm still in the process of saving up for the Wacom Cintiq tablet, but I'm thinking of just getting the 12" instead of the 21" tablet, since one is 50% cheaper than the other. If I do plan on getting the 12" Cintiq tablet, I'll be able to get it sometime in June or July. So whenever I get one, I like to start on some live-action-type drawings of Detective Conan, Anime-style drawings of Nintegaball and artwork of my own superhero.

So be on the lookout for some of my more recent artwork that I've done since my last upload.

My Little News Update From My Newgrounds Page

Thu Jul 16, 2009, 2:46 PM
Below is just a little news update I just posted on my Newgrounds page earlier today. Pretty much has the same stuff that was in my last blog, but also discusses a little bit about Nintegaball

---------------------------

It has been several months since I've written something on here. From December 2008 till now, I've been working at my job as a webmaster for a radio station here in Minneapolis. Work has consumed me quite a bit in the past, but as of right now, it hasn't as much.

I finally got myself a Macbook Pro 15 inch back in May through months of savings when my iMac Desktop's hard drive crashed around Christmas last year. Been using the new laptop quite a bit, even taking it to work with me every day to work on some work things or personal things.

Other than that, not much dramatic stuff has happened with me yet; however, I'm starting to save up on the Wacom Cintiq 21UX model, since the Bamboo one I currently have isn't going to cut with doing animations or other digital art as I've learned later on. So this ties into Nintegaball as I've not even touched it yet, but I'll eventually get to it when I am equipped with the Wacom Cintiq and ToonBoom Animate Pro, which is going to take quite sometime, so just stay patient.

I've also been thinking of what the new Nintegaball will look like and how it will be done, now I just need to have sometime to start on a feature-film script for it and how to execute it. Whenever I get the Wacom Cintiq, I plan to start on some concept art of the characters and the settings for Nintegaball.

Before I end this little news update, I've been planning/thinking of doing a Nintegaball fighting game. If you think if that's a good or bad idea, just let me know on what you think.

LONG Time, NO See Everybody!

Sun Jul 5, 2009, 4:12 PM
Hey everybody! Long time, no see! Can't believe it's been 4 months since I last wrote something on here; However I originally did write something on here recently, but accidentally didn't save it. I'm over 10,000 page views and already close to 11,000 page views, and I can't thank you enough :).

Hope everybody had a Happy 4th of July weekend here in the U.S., I sure did.

Anywho, sorry for not coming on here as much and putting up more remastered work or original works of Detective Conan or other things. Fortunately I've added a couple of works that I recently did. The current Wacom tablet that I have, Bamboo, isn't quite as productive/helpful to me if I want to really express myself in my work, and not as helpful when you want to animate things either. So I've decided to start saving up for the Wacom Cintiq 21UX which can truly express my artistic talents digitally. The Bamboo one can be useful for my Macbook Pro, something that can be easy to transport and portable. I have tons of art projects that I've been wanting to do and get out of my head, but I'm limited and the Bamboo can't help me in that area, I know that the Cintiq models can because, of course, they have monitors.

So it's going to take another several months to save this bad boy up like I did with the Macbook Pro. I'll let all of you guys know when I've got the Wacom Cintiq.

Update on the "Art Theft" Situation

Fri Feb 27, 2009, 3:34 PM
I've received messages from the people in the Policy Help area and they said about this copyright stuff and info about it, and they asked me what works that were taken off that were original, I gave them a list of 6 pieces that were original. Out of those 6, they restored ONLY ONE, and they still kept saying that the others where still "copyrighted material". I then asked them if I could retrieve some pieces that I lost when my computer's hard drive crashed a couple months ago, and I didn't manage to back then up. They then responded that they "can't provide it in any way".

So out of all of this crap that I went through, I manage to get ONE restored... without able to retrieve pieces that I didn't have. This obviously made me pissed, especially the Detective Conan Live-Action Posters which lye in the Image Manipulation category in which they have... which I say is outrageously hypocritical. Sure it has existing photos of people's heads, but I spent hours on them. No matter what, art is art. If you spent hours on a piece from start to finish, it's still considered original art, and has long as you don't make profit off of the creator's characters and/or series.

However, I won't back down, and I'll continue to upload them no matter what. I'll redo a few of the works that I've lost when my hard drive crashed. I'll edit some of the Live-Action posters cause I've got one or two people that I would like to replace with another that I think that you guys will like.

So until next time...
